Swensen
Swensen is a renowned restaurant chain that had its origins in San Francisco. Founded by Earle Swensen in 1948, it originally sold over 150 flavours of ice cream and other dessert specials such as banana split and sundaes. Subsequently, as more franchises opened, other fast food staples such as hamburgers, fries and sandwiches were introduced to the menu.

Zee & Elle
Zee & Elle is a popular local cake shop that is located on the first level of Kensington Square along Upper Paya Lebar Road. The interesting thing about the building that it is located at, is its mixed development of commercial and residential units.
